What Mekora collects, why, and the controls you have.
What we store
Your account email, profile details you enter, your messages and media, and your settings. Media is stored privately and served through short-lived signed links.
What we never do
We never sell your data, never show private message content to administrators unless a participant reported it and submitted context, and never share precise location. Location sharing is approximate unless you deliberately choose precise.
Your controls
Read receipts, online and last-seen visibility, profile photo visibility, who can message, call, add you to groups or send requests, searchability, and quiet hours are all individually configurable.
Data requests
You can download a copy of your data or request permanent deletion from Profile → Settings → Data. Deletion is irreversible.
Permissions
Camera, microphone, contacts, location and notifications are only requested when you use the feature that needs them, and are explained before the prompt appears.
